PROGRAM OF THE WORKSHOP AND COMPITITION

day_01 understanding Parametric desing - presentation of the workshop, objectives - Introduction to parametric design, examples - Grasshopper, algorithmic logic, Data managements - break - Grasshopper: components, connections, - essential mathematical functions and logical operations - exercise,

day_02    understanding Kinetic 01 - kinetic Architecture presentation and examples, - Training on Archiuno & preparing digital models for kinetic simulation by grasshoppercomponents - break - Firefly bulging and grasshopper definitions - Archuino inputs and outputs   - kinetic facades and dynamic pattern      - exercise,

day_03    compitition Preperation & kinetic design concepts - competition assignment for compotator groups, dividing groups, (each one in the group will have Archuino kit)    -  brain storming for groups -  break -  Lecture,  more on Kinetic simulations -  primary  groups’ conceptual ideas presentation

day_04     understanding Kinetic 02 Mechanizm  - models movements mechanisms    -  controlling particles of models  -  break -  Lecture,  more on Kinetic, working on competition -   finalizing   groups’ ideas and preparing to particles fabrication

day_05    Ideas Digital Fabrication   - parametric digital fabrication    -  optimizing models for fabrication  -  break - lecture, Environmental Adaptive Dynamic Architecture -   preparation models for fabrication      -  doing fabrication for each group.

day_06 and 07    finalizing models for Kinetic simulation - building a physical model for each group    -  testing physical  model movements compatibility with digital model -  break      -    More sensors, more kinetics.  - finalizing models groups pre- final presentation

Day 08  Project Day  Final Jury and winners -   Lecture, future Architectural design. (exotic professor) - final Jury and groups presentation - break  - Winners announcements and giving awards

Workshop information

DURATION: The workshop will run for 7 days for a total of 42 hour from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day PREREQUISITES:  You do not need specific knowledge of Rhinoceros LOCATION: Algoritmworkshops 4 Rashdaan  St., - Dokki - Giza – Egypt Official languages ​​of the workshop: Arabic and English	ورشة العمل أيام متواصلة بمجموع عدد  48 ساعة من 9 صباحا الى 4 مساءا كل يوم غير مطلوب من المشتركين معرفة مسبقة لبرنامج الرينو مكان التدريب:   Algoritmworkshop 4شارع رشدان – الدقي – الجيزة – مصر اللغة المتخدمة فى التدريب: العربية والإنجليزية

To register, simply send your personal data (name, surname, address, telephone number and e-mail) to: register@ealgoritm.com , specifying the workshop to which you want participate.  A confirmation email will be sent to you with payment details.	للتسجيل: إرسال البيانات الشخصية (الاسم واللقب و التخصص   ورقم الهاتف الى register@ealgoritm.com وحدد ورشة العمل التي تريد المشاركة  فيها عبر البريد الإكنروني  سيتم إرسال رسالة تأكيد لك مع تفاصيل الدفع.
The registration will be completed with a deposit payment of( 700 EGP for students and 1200 EGP for professionals) via bank transfer / credit card or cash, to be paid according to the following schedule: - Within 5 working days of registration: Registrants will pay the deposit amount according to details for payment they found in confirmation email. - The rest of the balance will be paid directly to the start date of the workshop.	في غضون 5 أيام عمل من تاريخ التسجيل سيتم دفع مقدم الحجز  (700 جنيه للطلاب و 1200 جنيه للخريجين) عن طريق أيداع بنكي أو نقدا. سيتم دفع الباقي مباشرة أول يوم من بدء ورشة العمل.
